	Originally Ruit was a small village on the “Fildern” (fields). Through the years it has been practically connected with Stuttgart. Ostfildern-Ruit is located between Stuttgart and Esslingen am Neckar. Our house is located in a quiet neighbourhood near a forest. Car park: There is always an available parking place in front of our house (free of charge).


	*Public transportation:*

Stadtbahn (metro): a three-minute-walk to the train-stop“Zinsholz”(line 7 and 8). A twenty-minute-ride to the centre and central station of Stuttgart. From there you can take every connection on all S-Bahn lines: e.g. to the airport or “Messe”(convention center).

Bus connection: a three-minute-ride to the bus stop in “Scharnhäuser Park” From there you have a direct connection to the airport and “Messe”.


	Distances (ca.): 6 km : Autobahn A8 - Stuttgart-Ulm 8 km : Airport-Neue Messe 10 km : Stuttgart-centre.
